Mike Amicone | CEO & President
Industry veteran Mike Amicone is the CEO and President of Draka Communications - Americas. Mike joined Draka in 2004, with over 36 years in the telecommunications industry. He began his career with New England Telephone in 1968, holding several management positions in engineering, planning, procurement and technical support. Mike was also a pioneer in the early days of fiber optics, supporting AT&T in the first major fiber optic system deployment along the northeast corridor.
Prior to joining Draka, Mike worked for 17 years at Siecor/Corning Cable Systems during which he held numerous sales and marketing roles before retiring as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.
Everett McNair | COO
Everett McNair joined Draka Communications in 2008 as the Chief Operating Officer and he serves on the company's executive management team. Everett comes to Draka with 24 years experience in supplying fiber optic cable and hardware to the telecommunications industry.
After spending seven years in the U.S. Marine Corps, Everett entered the telecommunications industry as a field engineer with Siecor Corporation in 1984. Over the next 24 years, he would go on to hold positions of increasing scope and responsibilities to include Field Sales, Product Management, Market Management, Director of Manufacturing and VP Engineering Services. Everett has an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
Bill Linquist | CFO & VP - Finance
Bill Linquist is CFO and Vice President responsible for the company's Finance functions and serves on the company's executive management team. Over 17 years with Draka, Bill held various positions in finance, accounting, audit, and information technology. Bill holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a BA in Accounting from Lenoir-Rhyne College.
Tony Valentino | VP - Sales
Tony Valentino is Vice President responsible for the company's Sales, Marketing Communications and Customer Care functions and serves on the the company's executive management team. Tony has over 17 years experience nurturing partnerships among network operators, installer and enterprise customers. Tony has an MBA from The Ohio State University and a BS in Business Administration from Miami University.
Allen Griser | VP - Operations
Allen Griser is Vice President responsible for all aspects of the company's Operations and Product Marketing functions and serves on the company's executive management team. With over 23 years of experience in the communications cabling business, Allen has been responsible for a variety of sales, customer care, marketing, engineering, logistics and operations functions. Allen has a BSE from University North Carolina - Charlotte.
Jeff Barker | VP - Technology
Jeff Barker is Vice President responsible for the company's New Product & Technology Development and serves on the company's executive management team. Jeff has over 24 years experience in fiber optic cable technology holding various research, development and engineering positions within Siecor, Alcatel and Draka. Jeff holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
